We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to contribute to our green initiatives in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of environmental regulations and engineering principles, responsible for designing and implementing sustainable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of environmental projects from conception to conclusion.
• Draft and review technical specifications for environmental engineering projects.
• Foster relationships with regulatory bodies to facilitate project execution.
• Provide expertise in sustainable design and energy efficiency.
• Identify risks related to environmental impacts and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Participate in research and development efforts for new environmental technologies.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines for environmental initiatives.
• Advocate for the adoption of green technologies among clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to grant writing for environmental programs and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or engineering
