Job Description

We are seeking skilled Cardiovascular Technologists and Technicians to join our passionate team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will conduct diagnostic tests and assist in the treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results effectively.
  • Manage patient care during diagnostic procedures and treatments.
  • Utilize advanced equipment effectively, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient history and care plans.
  • Liaise with medical staff to ensure integrated patient treatment pathways.
  • Conduct patient education sessions regarding cardiopulmonary health.
  • Assist in developing departmental protocols for best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Cardiopulmonary Technology or equivalent
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Experience
  • 3 years of direct patient care experience in cardiology

  • ECG Interpretation
  • Mechanical Ventilation

Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages is an asset.
