Job Description

The Merchandise Displayer, also known as a Mannequin Decorator, is instrumental in designing captivating displays that entice customers and drive sales. This role requires a blend of creativity and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that products are showcased effectively within retail spaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative mannequin displays.
• Work closely with visual merchandising teams to refresh displays regularly.
• Incorporate customer feedback into display designs.
• Utilize visual merchandising tools and techniques effectively.
• Assist in training new staff on display practices.
• Conduct inventory checks on display materials and props.
• Procure materials necessary for displays and setups.
• Monitor competitors' display strategies to remain competitive.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers for display materials.
• Support the overall visual strategy of the retail brand.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma in visual merchandising or related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail sales, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Photoshop

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills

Advantageous

• Experience in event planning and execution: Helping to coordinate in-store events that draw customers.
• Experience working with mannequins and display props: Hands-on experience is preferred for effective display creation.
