Job Description

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions in our Johannesburg office. Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of cloud architecture, driving efficiency and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers and stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications to ensure rapid deployment and integration.
• Evaluate and resolve technical challenges to ensure successful cloud implementations.
• Participate in architectural reviews and design sessions.
• Document cloud processes and workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for cloud services and infrastructure.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and sharing knowledge within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience designing cloud solutions

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
