Structural Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design and analyze structures ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborating with architects and construction teams, you will bring your technical abilities and creative solutions into play, assuring project success from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Create structural designs, calculations, and detailed drawings.
• Liaise with construction teams to facilitate communication of recommendations.
• Conduct structural inspections and assessments of buildings.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of engineering applications.
• Evaluate project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Research and recommend materials and technologies for project improvement.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)
