Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot chemical process issues.
• Design experiments to test hypotheses and validate processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to procure materials needed for projects.
• Work on cross-functional teams to integrate chemical processes with other systems.
• Develop cost estimates for new projects and ensure budget adherence.
• Draft research proposals and secure funding for projects.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• PhD in Chemical Engineering is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical process design

Technical Skills

• Chemical reaction engineering
• Process simulation software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC): Ability to implement SPC methods for process monitoring.
