We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for auditing purposes.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
• Enhance and maintain budgeting processes.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
• Assist in training and guiding junior accounting staff.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Finance or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting

• ACCA Qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
