Responsibilities

• Design and perform experiments to evaluate the toxicity of new chemicals.
• Develop safety protocols based on research findings.
• Work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets and present findings.
• Create educational materials about toxicology for various audiences.
• Assist in grant writing and research proposal preparations.
• Mentor junior staff and interns in toxicology practices.
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory safety standards and cleanliness.
• Research and implement best practices for toxicological assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Toxicology or a related field preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in toxicological risk assessments
