Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice and community welfare, with a focus on providing support and resources to individuals and families in need. This role demands a proactive approach to case management and an understanding of the complexities surrounding social issues in our community.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and provide appropriate resources.
• Create and implement tailored intervention strategies for clients.
• Offer support and counseling to families in crisis.
• Work closely with various stakeholders in the community.
• Document case notes and maintain client confidentiality.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their rights are upheld.
• Participate in continuous professional development workshops.
• Facilitate training sessions on social issues for the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in social services or community work.

• SACSSP Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
