Control Room Operator

Job Description

As a Control Room Operator, your primary role will be to monitor the security systems and coordinate emergency response actions. You'll work closely with the security team to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee surveillance operations and alarm systems.
• Engage with emergency services when necessary.
• Compile daily security reports for management.
• Coordinate access management for contractors and guests.
• Ensure all security policies are followed diligently.
• Monitor and maintain communication systems within the control room.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and report findings.
• Engage in regular training sessions to improve skills.
• Work collaboratively with the security team for efficient operations.
• Assist in the development of better security protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Security certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• CCTV Operations
• Reporting and Documentation

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
