Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Official to join our team in Pretoria. This role involves implementing health programs, conducting research, and working closely with community stakeholders to address public health challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in public health policy advocacy and community engagement.
• Develop strategic partnerships with NGOs to enhance public health resources.
• Provide technical assistance and training to partners and stakeholders.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform health interventions.
• Ensure compliance with public health regulations and best practices.
• Participate in local and national health initiatives to promote the agency's goals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for various audiences to communicate public health outcomes.
• Stay updated on public health trends and emerging health issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health or health promotion

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
