Freight Forwarder

Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Freight Forwarder to coordinate and manage the logistics of transporting goods both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a keen understanding of shipping regulations, and experience in customs clearance. With a focus on efficiency, you will ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining excellent client relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the freight forwarding department.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance client satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures within the logistics operations.
• Analyze shipping costs and identify areas for savings.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are compliant with safety regulations.
• Participate in logistics planning and strategy development.
• Conduct regular audits of freight activities and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a logistics-related role

Languages

• English: Fluent
