IT Support Technician

Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT systems and assisting users with technical inquiries. You will work closely with our IT department to resolve issues, install and configure hardware and software, and provide training to staff. Your expertise will help streamline our processes and improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and diagnose incoming IT support requests.
• Log and track support requests using IT management software.
• Help manage the company’s server and networking infrastructure.
• Conduct routine maintenance on IT equipment.
• Support remote staff with their IT needs.
• Identify and escalate issues to the IT Manager when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members on IT projects.
• Ensure IT security protocols are followed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in IT or a related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support or related field.
