Job Description

Join our Cape Town team as a Mental Health Therapist, where you will work with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. Your role will involve assessing clients, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct therapy sessions with clients.
  • Evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on client feedback.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families.
  • Facilitate communication among all parties involved in client care.
  • Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards in all practices.
  • Develop outreach programs to promote mental wellness.
  • Conduct initial assessments and refer clients to appropriate services.
  • Encourage participation in community activities for client wellbeing.
  • Engage in ongoing professional training and education.
  • Support case management processes and provide input during case discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology
  • PhD in Psychology is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting
