We are seeking a dedicated Rock Splitter for our quarry operations. This physically demanding role requires manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for breaking stones into manageable sizes while adhering to strict safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Break down large stones into manageable pieces.
• Operate quarry machinery safely and efficiently.
• Regularly clean and inspect tools and equipment.
• Assist in training new team members on procedures.
• Ensure stones are prepared to the correct specifications.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and comply with health regulations.
• Document daily production and material usage.
• Report incidents or near misses immediately.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Preference for candidates with experience in construction or mining

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Heavy machinery operation
• Basic maintenance skills
