Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely to patients.
  • Provide patient counselling and education regarding medication use.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Monitor patient medication therapy and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Conduct health and wellness screenings and consultations.
  • Participate in community health programs and outreach activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Keep up to date with the latest pharmaceutical advancements and practices.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy staff and providing training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a pharmacy setting
