Responsibilities

• Create detailed design specifications for electrical systems.
• Evaluate and select materials and equipment based on project requirements.
• Review and approve engineering project plans and modifications.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to ensure optimal results.
• Establish effective relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
• Collaborate on the development of new technologies and practices.
• Assist with grant writing and proposal submissions.
• Attend professional conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date.
• Evaluate and improve upon engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Master’s degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles

• Power Systems

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Software proficiency in ETAP or similar tools: Experience using ETAP for electrical design and simulations.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems: Understanding of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems and their applications.
