Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Dentist to join our practice in Pretoria. You will play a key role in diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose dental conditions in patients.
• Perform a range of dental procedures safely and effectively.
• Inform patients about procedures, risks, and follow-up care.
• Engage in patient education to promote better oral hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and dental standards.
• Contribute to enhancing patient experience and satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Postgraduate qualification in Dentistry is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice setting

Technical Skills

• Prosthodontics
• Periodontics

• Critical Thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certification in Sedation Dentistry
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Multilingual capabilities: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
• Experience in orthodontics: Skillset includes providing braces and other orthodontic treatments.
