Job Description

Join us as a Psychologist, where you will provide individual and group therapy to clients. Your expertise in psychological assessment and treatment planning will be essential in guiding clients towards better mental health. We value holistic approaches and encourage creative therapy methods.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose mental health disorders.
  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions to support clients' wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic treatment approaches.
  • Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in distress.
  • Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct workshops to educate the community on mental health topics.
  • Supervise and mentor interns and junior psychologists.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) is preferred
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience, with specialisation in a specific area preferred
