Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DragSaw Operator to join our production team at TimberWorks Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining drag saw machines, ensuring the safe and precise cutting of timber and wood products.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the dragsaw machine in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Set the dragsaw machine for specific cutting tasks by adjusting blades and measurements.
• Monitor the cutting process for accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on the dragsaw machine to minimize downtime.
• Report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns to the production manager.
• Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Work with the production team to meet operational deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in woodworking is an advantage

Experience

• Previous experience in the logging or timber industry is preferred.

Certifications

• Forklift Operator License

Languages

• English: Fluent
