We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for process design, optimization, and development of innovative solutions in chemical production. This role involves close collaboration with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize chemical processes to enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop and implement new products.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct experiments and analyze results to improve product quality.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for process changes.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• PhD in Chemical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical production or related areas

• Chemical Reaction Engineering

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
