Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer specializing in Process Optimization, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet industry standards while maintaining safety and environmental regulations. Collaborating with the production team, you will analyze and refine existing processes to maximize yield and reduce waste.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives aimed at process optimization across manufacturing lines.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and optimize operational workflows.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation during all phases of process improvement.
• Assist in the validation of new technologies and equipment within the production environment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Advise on best practices and efficiency measures based on industry standards.
• Review and refine laboratory methods and procedures related to manufacturing.
• Document processes and changes in line with quality management systems.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on new processes and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical process industry
