Job Description

As a Hammer Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain hammer milling machines to ensure efficient production of materials. Ideal candidates will have a background in machinery operation and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the hammer mill and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Participate in regular maintenance schedules for machinery upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in operation.
• Assist in training new operators on the hammer mill equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of production processes and equipment status.
• Conduct quality inspections on products produced.
• Work with other departments to streamline operations.
• Report any safety or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Flexibility to assist with other production duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience operating a hammer mill or similar equipment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Welding skills

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience with hammer mills: Familiarity with the operation of hammer mills or related machinery.
