Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our supportive team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to assess their mental health needs and provide effective therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' mental health through structured interviews.
• Create and amend treatment plans based on client progress.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions to enhance clients' coping skills.
• Respond to client emergencies in a timely manner.
• Network with local health services for holistic support.
• Document and report on client changes and developments.
• Guide clients in developing actions strategies to meet their goals.
• Ensure confidentiality and maintain client trust at all times.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of counseling practices.
• Assist with client referrals to additional services if necessary.
