Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise to produce user-friendly designs while ensuring a consistent brand experience. You will engage in user research and testing to create design solutions that meet our users' needs while driving product growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sprints and collaborative workshops with team members.
• Evaluate competitor products and derive insights for our designs.
• Utilize analytics tools to measure user engagement and design performance.
• Enhance existing products based on user interactions and feedback.
• Facilitate a design culture within the team by sharing knowledge and insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Certificate in UX Design is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience within a design role

Technical Skills

• Prototyping
• Web Design Principles

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Adobe Certified Expert
• UX Design Certification from Interaction Design Foundation.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile app design.: Experience designing for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end development.: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
