Continuity Reader

Job Description

As a Continuity Reader, you will play a crucial role in our film and television production process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure continuity across various projects by meticulously reviewing footage and scripts. We seek candidates with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of the shooting scripts against filmed content.
• Engage in pre-production meetings to clarify continuity expectations.
• Address continuity discrepancies during editing by consulting with editors.
• Maintain up-to-date logs of all production activities related to continuity.
• Create a culture of quality by promoting thorough oversight of production materials.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions to enhance storytelling methods.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in filmmaking or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Continuity Reader or in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with editing software
• Script analysis
