We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and incident response. You will be integral in protecting our organization by implementing security measures and monitoring for threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic analysis of systems involved in breaches.
• Document security incidents and responses for future reference.
• Enhance security team collaboration through tools and best practices.
• Conduct phishing simulations and security awareness training.
• Work with external partners for security compliance and reviews.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Review and update access controls to sensitive data.
• Participate in security community events and trainings.
• Contribute to the development of risk management policies.
• Provide recommendations to improve overall cybersecurity posture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree or advanced certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security
