Job Description

The Residential Advisor will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment for children residing in our facility. This role involves supervising daily activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily care of children within the facility.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with residents.
  • Facilitate engaging activities to promote social interaction.
  • Monitor behavior and implement strategies to address issues.
  • Assist with household tasks, including cooking and cleaning.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Stay informed about child development best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with child protection regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in childcare or related field
