Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and analysis of new mining opportunities.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and contractors.
• Utilize software tools for designing and planning mining operations.
• Evaluate the economic viability of mining projects.
• Participate in environmental impact assessments and remedial actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mining or a related field

Certifications

• Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Understanding of environmental laws and regulations affecting mining practices.
