We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, diagnosing health conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior nursing staff.
• Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in nursing.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention and wellness.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives within the healthcare facility.
• Engage in regular professional development and continuing education activities.

Requirements

Education

• DNP or PhD in Nursing is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a primary care setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Fluency in additional languages: Ability to speak multiple languages will be considered advantageous.
• Telemedicine experience: Proficient in providing care via telehealth platforms.
