Job Description

We are seeking a passionate ESL Instructor to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to inspire and motivate students while bringing creativity into the classroom. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging ESL lessons to diverse learners.
• Evaluate students' progress through formal and informal assessments.
• Incorporate technology into the learning environment effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages open communication.
• Assist in organizing extracurricular activities that promote language use.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or related field
• Advanced degrees are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching ESL

Certifications

• CELTA Certification
