Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Ecologist to join our dedicated team. This individual will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments and audits, formulating management plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments and data collection for environmental monitoring.
• Analyze environmental data to produce reports and recommendations.
• Engage with local communities and businesses on sustainability practices.
• Ensure effective communication of complex environmental issues.
• Monitor project progress and compliance with environmental standards.
• Lead workshops and seminars on best environmental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's Degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental assessments

Technical Skills

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Environmental Monitoring Tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Manager (CEM)
• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
