Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented and creative Event Coordinator seeking to make an impact in the vibrant city of Durban? Top Events Co. is looking for a passionate individual to lead our event planning initiatives. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of events, from conception to execution, ensuring that every detail aligns with our clients’ vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning of corporate and private events.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction before, during, and after events.
  • Develop and manage event-related budgets and financial plans.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations after events to improve future planning.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to design marketing materials.
  • Utilize project management tools to keep track of all event logistics.
  • Train and supervise junior staff and interns.
  • Manage client communications effectively throughout the event process.
  • Prepare event reports detailing the planning process and outcome.
  • Foster a positive team environment through collaborative practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Certification in Public Relations or Marketing is beneficial
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and management
