We are seeking a Residential Insurance Inspector to thoroughly assess and evaluate residential properties for insurance purposes. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and be adept at identifying potential risks and hazards.
Responsibilities
Inspect residential properties to evaluate and document the condition and any potential risks.
Engage with homeowners to discuss findings and provide recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of all inspections and findings.
Advise on compliance matters and risk management strategies.
Analyze data obtained during assessments to identify trends and patterns.
Support the claims team through the resolution of complex cases.
Utilize industry-standard software platforms for reporting.
Ensure all inspections are conducted in a timely manner within set deadlines.
Actively participate in meetings with the claims department to discuss ongoing cases.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 certificate
Degree in Insurance, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience
2-4 years of experience in property assessments and risk evaluation.
