Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization's information systems. You will be tasked with developing security strategies, assessing risks, and ensuring that our digital landscapes are shielded from threats.

Responsibilities

• Analyze risks and vulnerabilities in IT systems.
• Implement proactive measures to mitigate security threats.
• Collaborate with law enforcement on cybersecurity cases as needed.
• Prepare security reports for management review.
• Perform penetration testing and other assessments.
• Participate in incident response planning and execute response plans.
• Liaise with external security consultants and auditors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT security roles

Technical Skills

• Security Frameworks
• SIEM Tools

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent
