Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for patients with hearing impairments. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' hearing experience and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial patient consultations and establish rapport.
  • Provide thorough assessments using state-of-the-art audiological equipment.
  • Advise on rehabilitation strategies and interventions.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness about hearing health.
  • Maintain and calibrate audiological equipment as necessary.
  • Assist in research activities and clinical trials when applicable.
  • Support students and interns in their learning and development.
  • Network with other healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery.
  • Promote health literacy regarding hearing health issues.
  • Participate in professional organizations and conferences.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Audiology
  • Additional certifications in related fields are advantageous
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in clinical audiology
