Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Dropper, where you'll be responsible for picking up, sorting, and delivering packages to clients. An ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and enjoy navigating the streets of Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Interact positively with customers to enhance their experience.
• Compile delivery reports and communicate with the logistics manager.
• Assist in loading and unloading packages from the vehicle.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report any maintenance issues.
• Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss efficiencies and improvements.
• Help train new delivery staff on the procedures and expectations.
• Ensure all deliveries are conducted in an environmentally considerate manner.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Delivery Experience
• Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Traffic Laws: Good understanding of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of Cape Town Area: Familiarity with the streets and neighborhoods of Cape Town is preferred.
