Tech Innovations Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Durban office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring quality across our software applications. You’ll work alongside developers and project managers to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our products. A strong analytical mindset and expertise in testing tools will be crucial in achieving success within our team.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance efforts during the software development lifecycle.
• Create test documentation and maintain a comprehensive test library.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
• Present findings and recommendations to management based on test results.
• Ensure all testing activities align with project timelines and goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing

Technical Skills

• JMeter
• Automated Testing Frameworks

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with performance testing: Expertise in conducting performance and load testing.
• Knowledge of security testing tools: Familiarity with tools for identifying security vulnerabilities.
