In Mold Coater

Job Description

As an In Mold Coater, you will be instrumental in coating products with protective or decorative coatings while they remain in the mold. This role demands precision, a strong knowledge of coating materials and processes, and the ability to work with molds and machinery effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds for coating application and select appropriate materials.
• Perform in-mold coating and ensure even application across products.
• Conduct regular quality checks on coated products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coating area.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the coating process.
• Document coating processes and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to meet production targets.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols in the workplace.
• Provide feedback on coating materials and suggest improvements.
• Assist in training new staff on coating procedures.

Advantageous

• ISO certification experience: Experience with ISO quality systems will be considered an advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is a plus.
