Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Convex Grinder who will be tasked with operating and maintaining grinding machines to achieve high-quality convex surfaces on metal components. The ideal candidate must demonstrate precision and attention to detail while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate convex grinders and polishers to achieve accurate specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on workpieces and document findings.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to troubleshoot issues.
• Train junior operators on equipment and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in convex grinding or a related field

Technical Skills

• CNC programming
• Quality control

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
