Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products using various techniques and tools. A strong knowledge of metalworking processes is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal fabrication activities including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Operate and maintain metal fabrication machinery and tools such as shears, presses, and welders.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Work with engineering teams to achieve project specifications.
• Monitor work processes and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of fabrication equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Trade Certificate or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience working specifically with sheet metal.
