Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. As a key player in our engineering department, you will design, develop, and test mechanical devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all engineering projects meet high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will play a vital role in improving our engineering processes and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models of mechanical components using CAD software.
• Conduct feasibility analysis and risk assessments on new designs.
• Work with suppliers to source materials and components.
• Document design processes and maintain technical records.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Support the training and onboarding of junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in industrial or mechanical engineering
