We are looking for a dedicated Hotel Manager to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, enhancing the guest experience, and ensuring high standards of service. Candidates should have significant experience in hotel management and a flair for creating welcoming environments that exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hotel operations and daily functionality.
  • Directly manage staff and foster a positive work environment.
  • Create and implement budgets and financial strategies.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction from check-in to check-out.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain standards.
  • Develop promotional packages to attract guests.
  • Manage hotel supplies and inventory.
  • Engage with guests to build rapport and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Hotel Management or related field
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
