Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Cape Town office, you will be responsible for developing new products and improving existing mechanical systems. This role requires a creative problem-solver with the ability to work collaboratively and drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review engineering specifications and reports.
  • Oversee testing activities to validate designs.
  • Actively participate in design reviews and safety audits.
  • Provide technical support during the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to research and development efforts in mechanical systems.
  • Ensure that projects adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Collaboratively work on multi-disciplinary design and analysis.
  • Assist in the development of quality assurance processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's degree in relevant engineering field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product development or mechanical engineering
