Bookkeeper

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper where you will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in financial reporting. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented and has a solid background in bookkeeping and accounting. You will be tasked with managing accounts payable and receivable and supporting month-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and entries in accounting software.
• Assist in generating financial statements for management review.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns as necessary.
• Provide support during financial audits.
• Help clients understand their financial data.
• Develop budget reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate with external accountants as needed.
• Manage and train junior accounting staff.
• Participate in monthly financial meetings.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience

Certifications

• Professional Accountancy Qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA)
