We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cybersecurity strategies, risk management, and incident response. You will engage with clients to assess their security needs, design tailored solutions, and ensure that all systems are fortified against vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing security systems and recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Lead consultations with clients to tailor security solutions to their needs.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders on security initiatives.
• Document security procedures and protocols for internal and external use.
• Participate in security forums and workshops to enhance knowledge and networks.
• Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity.
• Develop incident response playbooks to guide the organization during incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
• Advanced certifications in cybersecurity are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting
