Job Description

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Veterinarian to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Assess animal health by conducting thorough examinations.
  • Provide preventive care and vaccinations.
  • Manage and perform emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Educate clients about the health and wellness of their pets.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive animal care.
  • Keep up-to-date with veterinary advancements and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in animal behaviour are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in veterinary practice, particularly in small animal care
