Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Farm Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our clients' agricultural machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic issues in agricultural equipment.
  • Carry out field service calls to assist clients with urgent repairs.
  • Establish a professional relationship with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in agricultural machinery.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Assist in planning and executing equipment servicing schedules.
  • Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric Certificate or equivalent
  • National Certificate in Agricultural Mechanics is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in agricultural machinery mechanics
