Job Description

As an Accountant at our Cape Town office, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial data. You'll prepare tax returns, audit financial statements, and work closely with management to provide financial insights. If you are driven and detail-oriented, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
• Assist with financial audits and reports.
• Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry regulations.
• Prepare financial documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variance and report findings.
• Support annual tax filings and ensure compliance.
• Manage relationship with banks and financial institutions.
• Forecast financial trends based on historical data.
• Optimize the financial accounting systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification such as CA(SA) or CIMA is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
