Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in community health initiatives, project management, and health policy advocacy. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs that address various health concerns in our communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community-based health programs.
  • Conduct health assessments and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify community health needs.
  • Facilitate health education workshops and training sessions.
  • Collect and analyze health data to inform program decisions.
  • Advocate for healthy public policy within the local government.
  • Support the development of funding proposals for health initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations regarding public health issues.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers and community organizations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of practical experience in health program management
